EIME: LCA AND ECODESIGN SOFTWARE
EIME is the Life Cycle Assessment software from LCIE Bureau Veritas. It allows manufacturers to eco-design their products and services and produce environmental declarations.
The software has three service offerings:
- EIME Compass offers a simple and accessible solution for as many people as possible.
- EIME ensures that your environmental declarations comply with the level of detail required by verification schemes.
- EIME API offers an opportunity to standardize the conduct of LCA studies and gives LCA practitioners new possibilities for studying, analyzing, and eco-designing their products.

Created in 1996, EIME continues to evolve. As part of our program Future of LCA, LCIE Bureau Veritas developed the 6th version of EIME in 2023 to meet the following challenges:

EIME DATABASES
EIME is available with several databases:
- CODDE®: electrotechnical database developed by LCIE Bureau Veritas since 1996
- ecoinvent: database covering numerous sectors developed by the ecoinvent association since 2003
- ecosystem: database dedicated to the electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) sector in France developed by the eco-organization ecosystem
- Base empreinte®: French public database administered by ADEME
COMPLEMENTARY TOOL
Developed by LCIE Bureau Veritas, All'in PEP is a tool to be used with EIME. All'in PEP assists you in creating your PEP ecopassport® declarations. All'in PEP generates the expected deliverables:
- A LCA report in Excel format
- A PEP ecopassport® declaration in Excel and PDF format
