The CODDE®database contains more than 300 datasets related to electricity and energy production.

  • Energy transition: datasets are updated annually to reflect each country's energy transition from fossil fuels to renewable energies..

This data is developed using information from IEA (International Energy Agency) providing the quantities of energy produced and consumed in the world by country.

Water supply and treatment

The CODDE®database contains more than 280 datasets related to water supply and treatment.

  • Areas covered: up to 67 countries and 3 geographic regions (Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the World)
  • Water quality: tap water, process water, ultrapure water
  • Wastewater treatment: municipal wastewater, industrial wastewater

These data are developed using information from AquaStat which provides annual water withdrawal levels worldwide by country. AQUASTAT is FAO's global information system on water resources and agricultural water management.

Material transformation processes

The CODDE® database contains more than 75 datasets related to the transformation of materials.

  • Areas covered: up to 67 countries and 3 geographic zones (Europe, Asia Pacific and World)
  • Process configuration: in 3 clicks, choose the process's electrical mix and modify the amount of electricity consumed.

In the example above, 4 factories are studied: factory n°1 connected to the European electricity grid, factory n°2 connected to the Polish electricity grid, factory n°3 connected to the French electricity grid, factory n°4 with a guaranteed certificate of origin from wind energy. Depending on the factory, the GWP impact varies from 0.0421 kg CO2 eq to 1.460 kg CO2 eq.

Using configurable processes in EIME therefore helps improve the quality of your LCA studies and differentiate the impacts between products placed on the market.

The CODDE® database contains more than 60 data items related to the transport of goods and consumer goods.
