📣LCIE Bureau Veritas is proud to announce being the 100th member of ECO Platform! 🎉
ECO Platform, a multi-stakeholder association
Created in June 2013, the ECO Platform association aims to establish an environmental database of building and construction products. This database is made up of LCA results from environmental product declarations (EPDs).
The ECO Platform approach is structured in 3 working groups:
- TEWOG (Technical Working Group) is responsible for specifying and maintaining the requirements for the content, format and verification of ECO EPDs.
- STAWOG (Working Group on Standardisation) manages standardization initiatives. It provides comprehensive communication on relevant standardization initiatives to members and develops common positions.
- TOOLWOG (Working Group for Downstream Tools) manages topics related to the use of ECO EPD digital data via ECO Portal, such as Building LCA Tools. Developing solutions for an efficient exchange of EPD digital data to be used in building assessment tools is a central element of the project.
Through this membership, LCIE Bureau Veritas wishes to participate in the development and enrichment of the association.
